Summary
As a child of God, the trying of our faith is part of this life of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is a means to develop our faith, produce the "Fruit of the Spirit," and mature us in Christ. Our heavenly Father wants to see the life of His dear Son in us. One of the ways to bring this about is by tests, abiding in Him and the word of God abiding in us. This is the beginning of our series "The Glorious Church." Our scripture references are found in 1st Corinthians 13:1-3; 1st John 1:9, 5:4, John 15:1-2,4-5; Galatians 5:16 and James 1:2-5.
