This is part 5 of the message, Restoration. According to 1st Thessalonians 5:23-24, mankind is a tripart being, we are a spirit, we live in a body and we have a soul. After we accept Jesus as our Savior, though our born-again spirit is perfect because the Holy Spirit indwells our spirit; our soul yet needs saving. It's because of being born into a fallen world of sin and its effects on our soul prior to coming to Christ. The remedy is to apply the word of God to our lives to the saving of our soul.
