This is part 6B of “Restoring the Soul of a Nation.” Ecclesiastes 1:9 says there’s no new thing under the sun; what has been done, shall be done again in the present or the future (paraphrased). There are some patterns we can follow as we continue in the book of Nehemiah, as God’s chosen people rebuild the wall and restore the gates of Jerusalem. In other words, we can learn what to do, and what not to do as we put ourselves in this book. Moreover, we can learn what bringsvictory as we put our dependence upon God in any undertaking for Him.

Ourscripture references are found in Ecclesiastes 1:9; Nehemiah 1:6-8 and 4:4-9; Genesis 22:17-18; Ephesians 5:1, 6:18; 2nd Corinthians 10:4-5 and 5:17; Romans 12:2; Psalms 119:130 and 2nd Chronicles 7:12-14. I pray this message enlightens your understanding. Listen, for life!
